Lincolnia United Methodist Church is proud to introduce our new Pastor – Raymond Max-Jones. Pastor Ray received his theological training from the Sierra Leone Theological College and Church Training Center in Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa, from 1988 – 1992. He also has disciplines in Business Management, Security Police Sciences and Criminal Justice from Stradford University.

Pastor Ray was received into the itinerant ministry of the Methodist Church Sierra Leone in 1992 and he served in various capacities as Circuit Minister, Circuit Superintendent and District Synod Secretary, a position he held until 2006 when he joined his family in the U.S.A. He has also pastored Churches in Lester in England, Ghana, Senegal and the Gambia.

In the U.S he served as Associate Pastor at the Arlington United Methodist Church from 2007 – 2010 and 2012 – 2014, when he received full time appointment as Pastor of Lincolnia United Methodist.

Pastor Ray is married to Brendalyn Esther Max-Jones in 1992 and they are blessed with three children Peter, Stephanie and Vanessa.
